In the hustle and lightning speed activity of downtown Toronto, there seems to be a trend of upcoming coffee shops and niche food stops attracting students as a study oasis. For instance, the INCHA boba shop that opened this year at 761 Bay Street, Toronto, Canada.
The Incha Boba Shop Space
I saw an Instagram post of a Toronto blogger sharing the marble and gold aesthetic of the shop online.
Instantly, I was like, I have to go there now. If you don’t know already, I’m really into marble countertops and gold accents.
To sum up, the space features a rich green couch, a few marble circular tables and a couple large rectangle tables. During amy time at the cafe, I noticed students working at the tables on a Sunday afternoon. In other words, the cafe may be a lot more packed during the week.
The Bubble Tea
I tried the Jasmine Milk Tea for the first time and it was surprisingly bitter. Jasmine Milk Tea is actually quite sweet, so maybe this INCHA boba shop brewed the tea for too long. As a result, bitter tea.
I noticed on Yelp that the cafe received three-star reviews. Nonetheless, I went for the cute aesthetic of the cafe, not the boba. If you’re looking for top tasting bubble tea, this INCHA boba shop may not be the top of your list.
Your Productivity
I was productive for hours at this cafe. People at the cafe were respectful and understood that the cafe is a shared space. There are plenty of wall plugs to charge your devices and there’s WIFI. Pro tip: if the WIFI at INCHA fails, you can log in to Pizza Pizza’s WIFI which is next door. I totally didn’t do that *wink face*.
In conclusion, bubble tea is so-so, the cafe is pretty Instagram-worthy, and you will get work done.

I love cute little coffee shops. They have a few fun ones here in Ottawa.
Ooh! My cousin lives in Ottawa and I’m going there to visit this January. Do you recommend a specific cafe to check out?
To be honest, the real Jasmine Milk Tea without sweetener is mean to be bit, good smell but bit. Because the fresh Jasmine tea is bit, and milk should just taste like milk, none of them are sweet. I am a Taiwanese, personally, I do believe INCHA is definitely one of the best bubble tea shop in Toronto.
Oh, interesting! Thank you for sharing.
