Finding a pet-friendly cafe in Markham is a rare treat, but I think I’ve found one. Out of Office is the perfect spot to bring your dog while you work or relax. I brought my dog, Noah, along for the visit. He’s quiet and well-behaved, making him a great companion for cafes. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly cafe in Markham, this is definitely one to check out.

A chilly visit to Out of Office
The day I visited was extremely cold. However, once inside, the warmth of the cafe and friendly vibe made up for the chill. The menu caught my eye right away. I ordered an iced matcha, though I missed the strawberry matcha and tiramisu coffee offerings.

The matcha experience at Out of Office
The matcha was decent, but not outstanding. I’d rate it 6/10. It wasn’t as creamy and bold as the matcha at places like Wu Wei Coffee. It’s a good option for those who prefer a lighter, less sweet taste. The drink size was small—only 10 oz—which felt too small for the price. If I’m driving to a cafe, I’d prefer a larger portion.

A sweet surprise: the ube coconut cookie
The highlight of my visit was the ube coconut cookie. It was chewy and flavorful. It paired perfectly with my matcha. If you visit, I highly recommend trying it.

Looking forward to the summer menu
While the matcha wasn’t my favourite, I’m excited to return for the iced strawberry matcha or the tiramisu latte. I’ll save those for warmer months when I can enjoy the drinks outside with Noah.

Why Out of Office is a great pet friendly cafe in Markham
Out of Office is perfect for dog owners. It’s a true pet-friendly cafe in Markham, where dogs are welcome inside. Your pup can meet other furry friends while you work or sip your drink. The small, cozy space makes it a great place to relax or meet up with friends. I love the dog-friendly atmosphere and will definitely return.

Final thoughts: a charming spot with room for improvement
Overall, Out of Office is a great pet-friendly cafe in Markham. While the matcha didn’t impress, I’m looking forward to trying other drinks. The pet-friendly vibe makes it a special spot, and I’ll be back with Noah soon.
