Crew Collective Cafe had been on my must-visit list for quite some time. With stellar Google ratings and rave reviews, I couldn’t resist seeing if the hype lived up to the experience. First impressions on a snowy morning
We arrived in the cafe’s area on a quiet Sunday morning. After getting off at the closest metro station, my husband and I walked through a light drizzle of rain. Snow blanketed the streets, adding a magical stillness to the city. To my surprise, the streets were nearly deserted.

My husband and I had a strategy: I queued for our order while he scouted for a spot. Thankfully, his persistence paid off, and we secured a cozy couch.
Indulging in croissants and coffee
Once at the counter, I was delighted by the menu. It featured an enticing mix of unique drinks, sandwiches, and baked goods.
The pistachio matcha immediately caught my eye, and my husband opted for the dulce de leche latte. We couldn’t resist ordering a butter croissant and a cheese croissant to share.
When we finally settled into our seats, I took a bite of the cheese croissant. It was pure bliss. The flavour transported me back to Toronto, where my go-to spot for croissants is Nadege.
Yet this one was distinct—rich, flaky, and impossible to put down. My husband and I found ourselves playfully battling over the last bite. The butter croissant was equally exceptional, with the perfect balance of crispness and buttery goodness.
The pistachio matcha was smooth and satisfying, while the dulce de leche latte earned my husband’s seal of approval. Every sip and bite was worth the wait in line.
