If there’s one thing I was excited about at Magic Kingdom (besides the rides), it was the food. This was my first time experiencing Magic Kingdom snacks, and I’d heard so much about their legendary treats—some hyped up beyond belief, others controversial. Naturally, I had to put my taste buds to the test.
Here’s a full breakdown of the best, the overrated, and the one snack I still regret skipping.
Best Magic Kingdom Snacks
Joffrey’s Coffee: The Real MVP
Let’s start with what kept me going—Joffrey’s Coffee. My husband ordered the Shakin’ Jamaican (a cold brew with vanilla and caramel), while I went for the Valentine’s Day mocha special. Both were smooth, rich, and exactly what we needed to fuel our Disney speed-run.

I know people rave about Starbucks in Disney parks, and I totally get it—I went there for both Animal Kingdom and EPCOT. But Joffrey’s definitely held its own as a solid coffee choice.

Tiana’s Famous Beignets: Sweet, Fluffy Perfection
Golden Oak Outpost did not disappoint! You can find these right beside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

These beignets were warm, light, and dusted with the perfect amount of powdered sugar. Yes, they made a mess. Yes, I inhaled them in under five minutes. And yes, I should’ve ordered more. If I could go back, I’d order a six-pack instead of three. Lesson learned.

Overrated: Not Bad, Just Overhyped
Cheeseburger Spring Rolls: A One-Time Experience
I had seen these hyped all over Disney vlogs, so I had high expectations. The crispy exterior, the savoury cheeseburger filling—it’s supposed to be like eating a McDonald’s cheeseburger. But while they were good, I didn’t love them. My stomach felt a bit upset afterward, and next time, I’d probably skip them altogether.

The Korean Chicken Bowl: A Tragic Disappointment
We stopped at the Polynesian Resort for this one, expecting flavourful, well-balanced goodness. What I got was a rice bowl drowning in gochujang sauce. Too much sauce. Not enough balance. The chicken itself was decent, but the sauce was so overpowering that it lost all nuance. Would not order again.

Nachos at Polynesian Resort: A Safe Bet
My husband played it safe and ordered nachos at the Polynesian Resort. They were solid—crispy, cheesy, and well-seasoned. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely a reliable choice compared to my regrettable Korean chicken bowl.
The One That Got Away: Pineapple Dole Whip
This is my biggest Disney food regret.
I had every intention of trying the famous Dole Whip, but the cold weather made me rethink my choices. Now, I deeply regret it. I don’t care if it’s freezing next time—I will be getting the Dole Whip.
Final Thoughts: What I’d Eat Again (and What I’d Skip)
- ✅ Joffrey’s Coffee – A solid caffeine fix.
- ✅ Tiana’s Beignets – An absolute must-try.
- ✅ Nachos at Polynesian Resort – A safe and satisfying choice.
- ❌ Cheeseburger Spring Rolls – Not bad, but not for me next time.
- ❌ Korean Chicken Bowl – Overpowering sauce disaster.
Next time? More beignets, fewer regrets, and a mission to finally try Dole Whip!
