One of the most underrated parts of my first time at Magic Kingdom? The shopping! From beautifully themed stores to ride-specific souvenirs, I was constantly tempted to buy many things. Whether it was Tiana’s cookbooks, futuristic Tomorrowland gear, or a last-minute impulse buy from The Emporium, shopping at Magic Kingdom felt like an adventure of its own. If you’re wondering about the best places to shop at Magic Kingdom, here are my top picks:
Tiana’s General Store: A Royal Shopping Experience
After getting absolutely drenched on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we made a stop at Tiana’s General Store, conveniently located at the ride’s exit.

The theming here is next-level. The store feels like it belongs in New Orleans, complete with jazz music playing softly in the background. If you’re obsessed with The Princess and the Frog, prepare to spend money—lots of it. This stop is undoubtedly one of the best places to shop at Magic Kingdom.
What I loved:
Tiana’s Cooking Collection – Aprons, cookbooks, and spice blends, so you can channel your inner chef.

Bayou-Themed Apparel – Flowing dresses and cute floral designs inspired by the ride.

Tiana-Ornaments and Sweets– Christmas ornaments, candies, and chocolates that are easy to pack in your suitcase as souvenirs.

Also, I bought a photo frame to house one of our favourite pictures from the trip!
The Emporium: The One-Stop Shop for Everything Disney
I knew The Emporium would be overwhelming, but I wasn’t prepared for the sheer amount of merch inside. Plushies, Minnie ears, spirit jerseys—this store has it all. I ended up getting a Tiana-themed gift card, which made my Disney purchases feel even more magical.

Shopping at Magic Kingdom can be a bit chaotic (it’s always packed), but honestly, it was the perfect last stop before leaving the park. If you’re compiling a list of the best places to shop at Magic Kingdom, The Emporium should be at the top.
Big Top Souvenirs: A Whimsical Wonderland
Nestled in the Storybook Circus area, Big Top Souvenirs offers a unique shopping experience under a circus tent. From character-themed candy apples to exclusive merchandise, it’s a delightful spot to find unique souvenirs. This charming shop is often highlighted among the best places to shop at Magic Kingdom.
A Shop Near Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café: A Small but Fun Find
We stopped at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café for food, but I was surprised to find some really cute Tomorrowland-themed merch nearby. There were lots of trendy Loungefly bags and Disney ears and shirts, and of course lots of Stitch merchandise. I didn’t buy anything here, but I did stare longingly at the longsleeved-shirts.

Biggest Regret: The Cherry Blossom Winnie the Pooh & Baymax Collection
The one that got away.
Apparently, Disney Springs had a cherry blossom-themed Winnie the Pooh and Baymax collection, and I completely missed it. I don’t know if I just didn’t see it or if it was sold out by the time we went, but either way, I’m sad.
Final Thoughts: Shopping Lessons Learned
- Wait before making big purchases. But don’t wait too long on some merch that’s low on stock because you may not find it later.
- Check Disney Springs before leaving. That’s where some of the best exclusive merch hides (Tokyo Disney-sakura-exclusive Pooh and Baymax, I’m looking at you).
- Leave extra space in your luggage. Because, let’s be real, you will be buying something.
Shopping at Magic Kingdom may be known for its rides and parades, but the shopping? It’s a whole adventure on its own! Exploring the best places to shop at Magic Kingdom added an extra layer of magic to our visit.
