Disney knows exactly what they’re doing. After you’ve spent a small fortune on park tickets, the shopping opportunities keep coming—inside the parks, just outside the parks, and most definitely at Disney Springs. And because they’re experts in temptation, they offer a free shuttle straight from the parks to Disney Springs. Convenient? Yes. Dangerous for your bank account? Without self-control, yes.
My husband and I used Disney Springs as a pickup point for rides back to our hotel after park days. It was way more convenient than fighting the post-fireworks crowds at Magic Kingdom. One night, after a long day at Animal Kingdom, we decided to properly explore. And let me tell you, this is not just a shopping mall—it’s a Disney experience.
1. You will be surprised by the size of the mall
Disney Springs is big. You think you’ve seen it all, then you turn a corner and—boom—there’s another section filled with even more shops and restaurants. The layout is sneaky like that. There’s the Marketplace, The Landing, Town Center, and the West Side, each with its own vibe.
If you’re not careful, you’ll walk through a whole section and completely miss the boardwalk area, which is lined with even more stores. We barely saw 25% of it.
2. Disney Springs shopping is full of premium brands (but no outlet prices)
If you were hoping for Disney’s version of a discount outlet mall—lower your expectations immediately. You won’t find a single sale sign here. Disney Springs shopping is all about full-price magic.

However, the selection is great. You’ll find familiar brands like Uniqlo, Lululemon, Sephora, and Coach, along with plenty of Disney-themed stores. I saw a hot pink Lululemon x Disney Define jacket, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. Should I have bought it? Maybe.
3. The World of Disney store is basically a theme park for shoppers
This is the store to visit if you’re looking for Disney merchandise. It’s massive and carries merchandise from all four parks—so if you missed something at Magic Kingdom, there’s a good chance it’s here.

I picked up a cozy Disney World hoodie that I’ve been living in since the trip. If you’re indecisive, this store will break you.

They also have maybe four Disney style stores with clothing, from athletic wear to sweatshirts.
4. The Marvel and Star Wars stores are a dream for fans
Disney Springs has a Marvel Super Hero Headquarters filled with Spidey merch, Black Panther gear, and even Marvel-themed Mickey ears. I never saw these in the parks, so if you’re a Marvel fan, this is the place to shop.

Right next door is the Star Wars Galactic Outpost, where you can grab Star Wars ears, clothing, and collectibles in a space that feels straight out of Batuu.

5. You might get distracted by the Disney art store
If you love Disney artwork, visit The Art of Disney store. They sell premium Disney prints and collectibles. It’s one of those places where you walk in “just to look” and suddenly you’re considering how to fit a giant Mickey painting in your suitcase.
6. The restaurants look really aesthetic
There are so many restaurants at Disney Springs, and most of them look so nice that you just want to step inside for the vibe. Summer House on the Lake and Boathouse are some of the prettiest, with their waterfront views. There’s also Morimoto Asia for high-end Japanese cuisine and Cookes of Dublin for fish and chips. And a massive Rainforest Cafe.

If you have a sweet tooth, go to Disney’s Candy Cauldron for spooky Disney-themed candy apples, or check out Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew for massive, sugar-loaded donuts.

7. Gideon’s Bakehouse is super popular
This legendary bakery is famous for its half-pound cookies and cold brew coffee, but there’s almost always a line outside. I wrote a full blog post on it, so check that out if you want the details, but just know—it’s a must-try if you love chocolate chip cookies the size of your face (spoiler alert: I don’t) or want a really good iced coffee.

8. There are two Starbucks locations (and they sell exclusive Disney x Starbucks merch)
Both Starbucks locations here sell Disney-themed tumblers, which are highly collectible.

For something unique, stop by Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. They offer custom latte art where you can get a picture of Mickey, Minnie, or even your own face printed on your drink.

9. It’s pet-friendly (kind of)
There’s a small stand called Happy Hound, selling dog toys and clothing. It’s not Disney-themed, but it’s cute if you want to bring your pup a souvenir.

10. The parking is… confusing
The parking complex is massive, with different zones and levels, but the real chaos happens when you try to find the rideshare pickup area. You cannot walk through the bus loading zone, and the signage is not great. One night, we wandered around in circles for so long that we had to ask security for help.
If you’re using Uber or Lyft, double-check the pickup zone before you head there.
11. Soar above Disney Springs in a hot air balloon
One of the most unique attractions at Disney Springs is Aerophile, the giant hot air balloon. If you want a breathtaking view of the entire Disney property, this is the experience for you. It takes you 400 feet in the air for a panoramic view, making it one of the most Instagram-worthy activities at Disney Springs.
12. A kid-friendly zone to keep little ones entertained
If you’re visiting with kids, they’ll love The LEGO Store, which features massive LEGO sculptures and interactive play areas. There’s also a carousel that younger visitors will adore, along with fun, themed activities throughout the district. There’s also a Splitsville bowling alley and AMC movie theatre. Disney Springs isn’t just for adults—it has plenty to keep kids entertained, too!

Final thoughts
Disney Springs shopping is so much more than a mall. Whether you’re looking for Disney merchandise, premium brands, or just a cool place to explore, it has something for everyone.
If you’re planning a trip, set aside a few hours (or honestly, a whole evening) to fully experience it. And most importantly—keep an eye on your wallet. It will try to escape.
