Yesterday, I visited a floral cafe in Toronto called Olivia’s Garden. Located on 569 Crawford Avenue in Toronto’s Little Italy, this cafe’s half a flower shop, half a coffee shop. When you get to the shop, you’ll be greeted by green shrubs, a grey bricked building, and an aesthetic outdoor patio.
From the outside, you get a sense of the aesthetic vibe of this shop. However, the real beauty of this quaint place is in the interior, where the marble countertops and tables add a posh and elegant touch.
What was once a convenience store is now a picturesque haven for flower lovers and multi-roaster coffee fans.
The Coffee Shop
Olivia’s Garden offers a wide variety of drinks and pastries, including their Cherry Blossom Matcha and Elderberry Latte.
I only tried the Elderberry Latte because I really wanted a pink latte, but I’m really intrigued to try the matcha latte that’s flavored with cherry blossom syrup.
Also, they sell fluffy and crisp butter croissants with a light sweet glaze on top.
The Flower Shop
The cafe has a flower shop in the back, where you can build your own bouquet. The flowers are beautiful and complement the shop perfectly.
This floral cafe in Toronto is super busy, despite being on a less crowded street in the city. But with it being just a few blocks from Christie station and several blocks from the University of Toronto, it’s easy to find. This makes it a great hangout spot to get work done.
In the mornings I can imagine how fresh and varied the pastries are. I can also imagine how empty the shop might be. Therefore, I’d come earlier than we did on a Sunday afternoon at 2 PM.
In the end, I’m glad to be cafe hopping in Toronto again. It’s the first cafe on my list of places to visit this summer in Toronto. The next one on my list is the Forest Cafe in North York.
