frequently asked questions

Think of it like this…if we were sitting at a cozy café chatting about life, travel, creativity, and faith, that’s what my blog feels like. It’s my little corner of the internet where I share Toronto café finds, home inspiration, creative projects, and reflections on life and faith. Basically, it’s a mix of everything that makes me feel alive and grounded at the same time.

Honestly, I’ve always loved being creative. When I was in kindergarten, our graduation performance had everything — the YMCA, Backstreet Boys, Michael Jackson — and I was fully committed to every move. I was the kid who was too lazy to play sports and too clumsy to dance, so instead I sewed clothes for my Barbies and made up entire stories for them on my bedroom floor.

Then one day I discovered Avatar: The Last Airbender, and that changed everything. I got so obsessed that I made my own fansite and taught myself WordPress, Photoshop, and a bit of HTML before middle school. That’s really where this all started. Storytelling, websites, editing… all of it.

It’s really about growth. I’m not trying to have it all figured out — I’m learning as I go, making mistakes, evolving, and becoming more of who I’m meant to be. It’s a long-term journey of creativity, faith, and the occasional cafe stop along the way.

Because I’ve never been able to pick one thing. My brain just doesn’t work that way. One day I’m reviewing a new Toronto café, the next I’m talking about faith or sharing a travel story, and then I’m suddenly deep-diving into an anime or drama series. I like to think of my blog as a mix of matcha, movies, and martial arts — it’s random, but it makes sense once you know me.

Figure skating (which is challenging mentally more than anything else), taekwondo (I somehow became a black belt after avoiding sports my whole childhood), photography, and journaling. I also love discovering cute cafés, trying new food, and finding cozy corners to read or write in.

Yup! Born and raised. I love exploring different parts of the city. Sometimes intentionally, sometimes because I took the wrong turn and found a cute spot by accident.

Yes! I run Agape Love Films, where I photograph families, couples, and lifestyle sessions around Toronto. I love capturing natural light and real emotion — the kind of moments that feel genuine, not posed.

For sure. I love partnering with brands that feel authentic to who I am. Reach out through my contact form above and let’s see if we’re a good fit.

For my blog, I honestly use my Samsung Galaxy phone most of the time. It’s just easier when I’m on the go, and phone cameras have come a long way. But for professional shoots, I use my Sony Alpha 7 III with my favourite 85mm prime lens. That combo never misses.

Absolutely. My faith in Jesus is the quiet heartbeat behind everything I create. I don’t force it into every post, but it shapes how I see the world, how I love people, and how I create. Whether I’m writing about a cozy café, a new season of life, or a personal reflection, my hope is that you sense the peace and joy that comes from walking with Him.

Honestly, it’s the reason I create. God gave me a love for storytelling, and I see every project as a way to reflect His beauty and grace. Sometimes that looks like a thoughtful blog post, other times it’s a photo that captures love or light in a real way. I believe creativity is one of the ways we mirror our Creator. It’s worship in everyday form.

That faith isn’t just for church days. It’s for the quiet moments, the messy seasons, the little joys that remind us God is still with us. I hope you leave feeling encouraged, seen, and reminded that life with Jesus can be both peaceful and adventurous. A mix of purpose, laughter, and grace.

For me, “becoming” is about transformation. Not striving to be perfect, but letting God shape me into who He designed me to be. It’s about growth, surrender, and learning to trust His timing. Every story, photo, and reflection I share is a small piece of that journey.
