It’s not difficult to have an amazing time at the Aurora Winter Festival. I mean, there’s just so much to see. If you don’t know, Ontario Place, which was one a loved amusement park has been turned into a recreational park and now turned into a Winter Theme Park for the winter season. The festival runs from November 29th to December 30th. If you’re just seeing this post now, you may have about one week left to truly enjoy the festivities, so hurry!

As you can see, there a lot of fun activities to do at the Aurora Winter Festival. Who says that just because it’s cold outside you can’t have fun? Especially if skiing or snowboarding may not be accessible to you, you can always attend the Aurora Winter Festival with your family or friends (or alone)!
While it can be a lot of fun to celebrate during this time of the year, what exactly are we
It’s time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!
Yup, that’s what Christmas is really all about. It’s so easy for us to get lost in the joy of Christmas. While it’s a big debate as to when Jesus Christ was actually born, it’s still a great reminder for us to read His story and learn about where, when, how and why He was born. If you don’t know or remember why Jesus was born, here’s why:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
New International Version (NIV)
It’s a love story that began with love and will end with love. Stay along for the ride because the story’s still being written and you’re apart of it too.
All this to say is that although I enjoy the winter festivities Toronto has to offer, I will never forget the true gift Christmas offers which is the reminder that God sent his only begotten Son out of love to save the world and offer eternal life to anyone who believed in Him.

Your photos are gorgeous! I didn’t try any of the food when I visited Aurora Fest, but I loved seeing all of the lights – I can’t believe how many there were.
I hope you had a wonderful time and a wonderful holiday!
